Fostoria Infrared Heaters

We are an authorized distributor for Fostoria Industries, a manufacturer of infrared heating systems.
  • 3/8" diameter clear or red quartz envelope
  • Coiled tungsten filament; sealed porcelain end caps; halogen gas tilled
  • Color temperature emitted: approximately 4100 degrees F - high brightness
  • Approximately 96% radiant efficiency
  • Instant heat-up/cool-down
  • Moisture resistance: Highest
  • Mechanical ruggedness: Average
  • Excellent resistance to thermal shock
  • Pigtail lead wires are approx. 6" length. 
  • Available Wattages: 500 to 3800 watts
  • Available Voltages: 120 thru 600 volt
  • 6-8 lumens per watt light output (without ruby sleeve)
  • Life expectancy: Up to 5000 hours
  • APPLICATIONS: All snow/ice control; all outdoor and most indoor applications; high-bay applications; indoor areas highly exposed to cold air infiltration
  • MOUNTING HEIGHTS: 10' and above indoor. 8' to 10' outdoor.

OPTIONAL RUBY-RED VYCOR SLEEVES are available for all quartz lamps. Sleeves easily slide over the lamp to filter out over 90% of the visible light (the lamps will glow red), yet allow over 90% of the infrared energy to pass through and effectively heat the intended area.
