Building Panels, Reflectors and Ovens With Ceramic Heaters
Emitter Mounting

Related to Reflectors and Panels
If you have metal bending and cutting capabilities, panels and reflectors can be easily constructed in-house specific for your application. We provide engineering support and drawings to help you. Most of the information you need can be found on Page 5 of our Technical Manual.
Constructing Reflectors
Reflectors should be made from a highly reflective metal such as aluminized steel. Emitter mounting is done by inserting the ceramic emitter through 15mm x 41mm slots cut into the reflector and secured in place by a "spring retaining clip".
Constructing Panels
Panels should be designed to fit your application requirements. Available space, voltage, working temperature, product specifications, and time requirements, all have to be taken into consideration.
The application that the panel of heaters will be used for may need zones to provide different amounts of heat to specific areas of the material to be heated. Each ceramic heater or any combination thereof can be wired in independent zones. Each zone can be operated at different temperature levels depending on application requirements.

Heater Placement
The proper spacing of ceramic emitters is accomplished through consideration of radiant emission patterns and watt density required.
