Our ALEX reflectors are designed to use our FTE or HTE Size Ceramic Infrared Heaters which are 96% infrared energy efficient.

Our standard ALEX reflectors are a complete reflector assembly with reflector, outer case and terminal blocks and they can be mounted in any direction, or side by side to make a larger panel.  Please note, the ALEX Assemblies are for use in industrial process heating applications only (not to be used in residential or commercial heating applications).  They are pre-wired for FTE or HTE type ceramic emitters and cannot be used with our FFE, HFE, QFE, HSE or LTE type ceramic emitters. They require at least the standard 6" (152.4mm) leads with pin terminals. The outer case is extruded aluminum and the reflector is polished stainless steel.  Our replaceable thermocouple does not fit in our ALEX reflector assemblies.  Use our FRK thermocouple instead.

The electrical conduit can be connected to either end since they have a removable hole plug in the end cap. There is a green ground screw in the terminal connection area and one or more TB-2 terminal block connections which require heaters with at least 6" (152.4 mm) leads.

Built-in interlocking channel

A channel on each side of the extrusion allows them to be interlocked together using 16 gauge sheet metal.  By customizing the size of the sheet metal pieces, and the angles that they are placed, an oven can be constructed.

Standard mounting via a 1/4-20x1.5 stud, 2 hex nuts, lock washer and 2 washers:

Adjustment for mounting hole spacing is possible because the stud screws into a t-slot nut with a ball/spring, which slides in the groove of the top terminal cover extrusion.
